I would have you make the decision but looking at colorfuel's adoptable #5 and though there are some differences, I see an awful amount of likenesses to one of your works so I thought I might double check considering the user's past and the fact they are still doing it. failingwind on here has the info about the user and sorry if I cause undue concern

Uwah I haven’t been online for a few days due to work, so I’m not entirely sure when this ask was sent—but if at all possible the anon sending this could show me which piece they feel the artist copied?
The closest thing I can think of, would be my commission for Leinef.  The pose is somewhat similar, but if this is the one you’re talkin’ aboouuuutt… well, it feels like it might be heavily referenced, but many things are quite different, including the style.  So I don’t find it an issue really.

Tracing is only ever okay on a personal, practice level.  It should never be posted and claimed as their own, and should ESPECIALLY never be used to make money!  (Shame on base makers I’ve seen do this—to me, no less!! -finger shake-)

Referencing, though, is a good thing!  Just make sure you don’t use one source too heavily, and keep your own style in mind while you work—especially if you plan to use it for money.
