How about we do something fun?

confectioneryaficionado:

You go onto Zero-can and you see a piece of good art you’d like to post on your blog and people to see and appreciate how good it is….
Ok you can do that, but LOOK! Even on Zero-chan fortunately give you the artist ( mangaka) who is owner of this piece… You don’t even have to search on it, you can click that and it’ll take you to their other artworks, in which you can source it to that as well so you know very well who it belongs to..

In some cases there’s no mangaka yet… So this is what you have to do.

Open google, click on images, then you click and drag the image onto here. As you can clearly see what I am doing here.

Oh! Well you look at that.. It shows you various places where it is on. This is where the fun begins cause you have to look through them to find them and then through that find the actual place where it originated from…

I clicked on Acquaristuck Headquaters and OH! There it is!! but wait you can link it here. But look what it says as soon as you enter it at first.

It says here it is run by Jotaku, so it’d be even better clicking there and sourcing it from there as well, but this place is also good since it is run by the owner.

Guys SOURCE the art, a lot of them are well known artists and even though you may think just cause people know of them then there isn’t reason to source, well there still is!

Hopefully this can help in case you want to post something….

Also instead, why not look for it through the process and just reblog the original post, that way the original artist or ( poster(?)) can get more notes (:

This this this this.
I understand that zerochan can have a great gallery and also links to other sites the artist is on, but zerochan galleries are NOT run by the artist.  When you source to zerochan you are NOT sourcing to the actual artist.
Maybe some people are okay with this, but it bothers me a lot. :c
All the information on zerochan and MORE is on any of my personally run galleries, plus people can contact and interact with me on them, and I far more appreciate sourcing to them over a site I have no personal connection with.

Thank you.
