First off, let me just say Dirk is utterly amazing!  He is just… he’s so COOL!  There is no other way that fully sums up how freaking awesome he is!  Definitely my favorite kid now, hands down.
He’s just… all his actions speak responsibility and, and HEART.  He really thinks things through, and he really obviously fucking cares.  To quickly pull his shit together and go through all of that so he could save all his friends ASAP.  It was like he was ready for it—as though he prepared for all outcomes and it was just a matter of following through whatever was gonna go down.

And, what tops it all off—is while single-handedly rescuing everyone, he still had the time to do some awesome rocketboard grinds!  How much cooler can you even get?!  Jesus christ Dirk, you are the knight in shining armor.  It is you.

Second, I definitely now fully ship Dirk<>Meenah.  JUST LOOKIT THAT HIGH FIVE!  It was so cute I can’t even!  And now all the friendship scenarios I am imagining aaa, such cuties!

And I love how Dirk was like ‘You got this here, bro?’ to Sawtooth before he left.  Ehehe, that was really cute!

And how Roxy was SO GLAD to see Dirk, and I saw someone else say this—but just her pure happiness of seeing another human being for the first time in person, and her excitement when they got Jane and was like ‘yeah all my homies up in here!!’ Oh my gosh they were all SO CUTE on that rocketboard together!  I want to cry with my happiness for them being all the BEST friends!

The DirkJake feels.  Aaaaalll the DirkJake feels.

When the flash ended and Dirk’s head was teleported off, though, I was caught speechless.  I didn’t see anything more than just one ==> when I refreshed MSPA, so I was like ‘WHAT.  HUSSIE NO DON’T LEAVE ME AT THAT!!!’ then I saw it at the bottom.  THANK GOODNESS he didn’t cut us off there!
Oh, oh yes, thank goodness~
Now you won’t see me going into skull fucking like that, oh no.  As much as I ship them and want them to get it on, going to town on a decapitated head isn’t really my dealio.  Kissing decapitated heads isn’t really my dealio, either, but the implications made my otp feels SOAR.

What really got me, too, is how… is how Jake really expected this between them—a relationship, kissing, etc—but just not in this way.  It wasn’t kissing Dirk that caught him off guard, it was kissing Dirk’s lifeless head!  While talking to AR in the process.  He was put-out about how that kiss was going down.  (And of course a bit freaked out—who the heck WOULDN’T be—at holding his best bro’s head!!)
I did laugh a bit at the light of AR shining through that glasses.  That wasn’t creepy or anything.
What I absolutely love the most, though, is how Dirk—any version of Dirk—has such an ability to rile Jake up.  All the Dirks seem to like to mess with Jake, push him from his indecisiveness into taking a course of action full-heartedly and all gungho!
Which brings me around to how much I adore Jake for that bit of him, too.

Kiss a lifeless head?  Well, I’m not sure… this isn’t how I expected things to go down…
C’mon, Jake, kiss me!

Then do it!!  Take the adventure by the reigns, Jake!

And he did the same damn thing over the whole boner spiel, too.  I just really, really love their dynamics!  Jake doesn’t really think things through, but he has over-all good intentions.  Dirk, on the other hand, has thought everything through probably a billion times already.  I think… well, I just think they’re really good for each other!  Sorry Jane, dear, but you really could use someone to loosen you up a bit more than Jake ever would.  (Aka Roxy?  Or Gamzee, I can ship that boat, too!)

Anyway, yes, that’s all my feels!  This was a great update!
